About us
A brief history of the Clinimed Group
Clinimed (Holdings) Limited was formed in 1991 following the acquisition and formation of a number of additional companies within the Group. It derived its name from the founding company, Clinimed Limited.
Clinimed (Holdings) Limited is the overall parent company and is proud to have been awarded Investors in People Gold accreditation.
The Group comprises eight operating companies all providing specialist products and services to the healthcare market.

Meet the Executive team
Sean L. Farbrother MA, BA (Hons), C Dir
Group Chief Executive
Since graduating from Nottingham Trent with a degree in Public Administration, Sean has completed Diplomas in Marketing, Company Direction and a Masters in International Marketing and is currently a Chartered Director.
Sean joined the Group in 1990 and during his time with the Group has worked in many of the businesses in various positions including Managing Director and Chairman roles for Clinimed, Flexible Medical Packaging, Helapet, Hydrokem Aerosols, Securicare (Medical), and Welland Medical.
In his role as Group Chief Executive, Sean reports to Nigel Piercey, Chairman of the Board of Clinimed (Holdings) Limited.
Sean is married to Jane, has two children and a dog and is a keen archer having recently taken up the sport with his family.
Suzanne Bryden LLB, Dip LP
Group Director of Legal Services
Suzanne graduated Bachelor of Laws from the University of Aberdeen. A qualified solicitor, she held positions in a local authority and a major law firm in Aberdeen, specialising in residential and commercial property and commercial matters before moving to Buckinghamshire to take up a similar position in a local law firm.
Suzanne joined Clinimed Group in 1995, and advises all the group companies in legal matters. Her work has included several company acquisitions and substantial property matters, the acquisition of a site and setting up of a company in the Czech Republic, and the multi-jurisdictional sale of the Laminar companies in 2016. She is a director and past Chairman of Careflex Ltd and Helapet Ltd, and was a director of Laminar Medica (CE) s.r.o. Suzanne has a particular interest in information security and data protection.
When not working, Suzanne is a keen choral singer and enjoys the perennial challenge presented by her unruly garden. She enjoys going to the theatre as often as possible with husband James, fun times with her grown up daughter and son, reading good books and keeping up with the antics of Koko and Sid, her two cats.
Peter Foot
Group Director of Finance
Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young and holds a degree in Geography from Southampton University. He joined the group in September 2021 as Group Director of Finance and brings with him a wealth of commercial and operational experience gained within diverse manufacturing organisations both at a business unit and divisional level.
Prior to his appointment Peter held various senior finance positions with Associated British Foods (ABF) plc and ICI plc. Roles at Associated British Foods included Group Finance Director at Allied Milling and Baking, Finance Director at Jordans, Dorset & Ryvita as well as the overall UK Grocery Group Divisional Finance Director.
Peter is married with two children as well as an energetic Springer Spaniel.
Nick Kell
Group Director of Human Resources
Nick joined the group in November 2022 as Group Director of Human Resources and is a highly experienced and proven HR leader supporting senior leaders across all business functions and different industries; providing strategic leadership, critical thinking and coaching to achieve business success. He is passionate for creating and empowering engaged workplaces.
Prior to joining the group, Nick was Regional HR Director for Medpace leading an HR team to deliver full employee life cycle support in a high growth environment. Previously, Nick held various senior HR leadership positions in Thermo Fisher Scientific, predominately supporting the sales, marketing and operations functions, including living in the US for 3 years delivering a cultural transformation program to support and enable business growth. Nick has held specialist roles in employee engagement and compensation and benefits.
Nick is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Manchester Metropolitan University and Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from University of Westminster.
Nick is married with two children and a dog!
